The Fellowship Of Christian Athletes is the largest and oldest organization of its type in America.

The FCA ministers to young people in places where most believe it can't be done; in our schools.  The FCA brings the Word of Jesus Christ to most colleges and high schools and many of the middle schools in our country.  This work is done through athletics using coaches and athletes in roles of leadership.

The work of the FCA ministers in four distinct areas of influence.  They are our coaches ministry, campus ministry, our summer camps and in our communities.  There are many separate areas within each ministry such as our "One Way 2 Play - Drug Free!" program.

The Southside FCA is active at Virginia State University and in the high schools and middle schools in Chesterfield,
Colonial Heights, Hopewell, Brunswick, Dinwiddie, Petersburg, Sussex and Prince George.

Past and present supporters of FCA includes: Joe Gibbs, Tom Landry, Bear Bryant, Bobby Bowden, Tony Dungy and our own Johnny Oates.  All of these great men believed in the FCA values of integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.

FCA Southside would like to thank all of our supporters, especially those who choose to participate in our first golf tournament to help share our mission of "seeing the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches."
